They contacted me, and I told them I was not interested in an employment agency, because I have had bad experiences with them in the past. They said they were different. I told them I was not interested in any assignment more than a few miles away, but they kept offering me a job about 12 miles away, that was supposed to last about a month. It was data entry. I didn't really want it, but they assured me that if I didn't care for it, I didn't have to stay. I stayed a month, but that was all I could take. The job was going to go on for a few more weeks. They never called me for anything again. I thought that was unfair. I did my part in sticking out the month they said this job would last. This is exactly why I don't like employment agencies. Fortunately, I have found a better employment agency to work with who has a variety of assignments for anybody with basic skills, close by. However, maybe for somebody who is looking for something different, they can work for you. But if you are looking for a variety of close by assignments, this is NOT the place to look. They don't have that type of clientele.
Good pay for the assignment
Not enough temporary jobs to make money. Not close enough to home. Not honest about what they expect
