Pick your battles. The mgr.. I had wrote up us for being a minute late. I've worked other places where people don't even bother to come in. And the thing that got me the most, a new hire, maybe someone out of cosmetology school, we've all been there. But I feel if the mgr gets a bonus from our hard work they need to have their station by the mgr. work the same hours as the mgr.
And lucky them they get all weekends off. She has kids. LOL

How much knowledge is needed. Like I mentioned earlier if the manager would have her work by her and work her hours, would have been nice. We all do things differently. If I ever did help another stylist, that was another we need to talk. So I feel that if they work directly with management things would run much smoother. I didn't have any problem answering her questions, however, I was not going to do her haircut and not get paid. The manager had a hard time getting each side even, and I never once got paid back on fixing her poor work. She believed in quality rather than quantity.

Depending on whether the manager liked you or not. If she didn't your hours kept decreasing, if she liked you for that week they would increase.. The only person that had a set schedule was mgr. We all should have. I had every set weekend to work. I missed out on a lot of activities with my college son. Time I will never get back. But what goes around comes around. Firm believer in that.
