Oversaw a grand opening, poorly organized and executed due to lack of budget. Strived to be a luxury company but lacked corporate infrastructure. Europe management team is better run that North America team. Did not provide full benefits package since the HR department was poorly run by interns and constant turnover in corporate office. Aside from clothing allowance, discount, would not recommend, as turnover was 6 months to 1 year internally. Would not recommend as the clothing can be purchased for a better discount than employee discount at department stores. Allocation of product assortment made it difficult to capture repeat clientele and did not agree with corporate culture with dismissal of a district manager and termination of other managers within the west and east coast. The SMCP family is very West vs. East coast and did not provide any room for growth.
