Unfortunately managers are hired from sales departments and have never worked at a dental office before. I am a dental assistant with plenty of experience but yet forced to work under a manager that lacks any sort of dental knowledge, restricts employee advancement to certain employees, shows favoritism, and blames other employees for not doing the - more ... managers job when certain things that a manager is supposed to do doesn't get done.
