The main reason I did leave: zero growth opportunity. If you're a professional and/or want to advance in your career, this isn't the place for you. Promotions are based on ageism (the younger you are the better chance there is that you'll embrace the sweatshop culture because you don't know any better), sexism, and total cronyism. Management is not transparent with employees, is extremely hierarchical, and you may find yourself in a job that is not at all how it was pitched when you interviewed for it. Meaningless quotas, arbitrary deadlines, arbitrary changes, and general wheel-spinning with no clear direction, vision, or strategy. Problems are blamed on headcount when it's just a general, overall chaotic mess because people are promoted who don't know what they're doing and processes and systems are a disaster. Senior management is insecure and will promote young, extremely "green" supervisors/managers who are far less qualified than the teams they supervise to 1) set the bar at the lowest possible level in terms of salary; and 2) placate senior management even when they know they're wrong. For example, are you going to push back on your manager if they're sponsoring your H-1B visa? No. As a result of all this, quality of the work suffers, ethical practices are questionable, and the company is not up to industry standards.
