little bad for WLB
Software Engineer (Current Employee) - Palo Alto, CA - March 16, 2023
balance. The company had a culture of long working hours and weekend work, which often led to burnout and exhaustion among employees. While the management team would often talk about the importance of work-life balance, in practice, it was difficult to achieve due to the high workload and expectations. In addition, the company's stock price was consistently low, which created a sense of unease and uncertainty among employees. This low stock price made it difficult for employees to feel motivated and invested in the company's success. It also made it difficult for the company to attract and retain top talent, as many employees felt that their work was not being adequately rewarded.

management is unwilling to adapt to changing work environments.
Energy Specialist (Former Employee) - Spokane, WA - January 25, 2022
SNAP has a great core message , but the management team does not embody the inclusive message they claim is what SNAP is all about. They are very inclusive when it comes to clients, but not employees. This is not a veteran friendly company
Pros
good benefits
Cons
very poor and outdated management style and culture

Snap-On-Owned but Tradition Operated
Maintenance Lead (Former Employee) - Throop, PA - March 7, 2021
Small shop of <20 employees, across one shift, welding bandsaw blades to order. It's a fairly straightforward, 1 piece, just in time, manufacturing process with room for improvements. The pay is fair and some employees are eligible for a bonus. The benefits are above average and the shop leads bought lunch quite a bit.
Pros
Occassional free lunches
Cons
Drama

Helper, delivering food to the elderly, through Meals on Wheels (Current Employee) - Queens, NY - October 16, 2020
The work is very physical, but the people are wonderful. Management moves me around between three different drivers and I enjoy working with each of them.
Pros
I bring home food that doesn’t get delivered.
Cons
It’s very physical and I fear poor weather.

Good adult ed job
Education and training Instructor (Current Employee) - Hampton, VA - November 8, 2019
Temporary Job. It was great while it lasted, but since it was grant funded, it was only for a minimum of three years. The pay was good for adult education in this area.

Please donate your time and passion. It pays your soul! The students benefit and you can practice your arts knowledge. Management is great. I’ve learned classroom skills and gained so much knowledge since starting volunteering here. Must pass an annual CORI.
