If I were in charge, I would treat all employees the same, show respect, and with employees that won't do their job, get rid of them and find good hard working people. Not promote a person just because they are your friend, make sure they are qualified.
I must agree with the rest of the comments. Poor management does affect the work environment. I had the pleasure of working with a great bunch of people and the main problem was how it was managed. I have over 18 years of experience in hospitality and applied for a Supervisor roll which was then occupied by someone who knew the management team. That only resulted in her being released before 7 months of being hired. I soon resigned and gave a months resignation so that I may help train the next team member. I think there’s some employees you have that are very devoted to the needs and dedicate there knowledge so that we may bring excellence to the everyday work expectations, but they do leave because of unfair treatment. I think honk if I was in charge I would get to know all my team members , I do state this because even if I'm the boss I am part of a team. I would hire individuals that have the ability to work together as a team so that we create leaders with integrity and respect for there peirs. I would also hire people because of there experience in the field and if needed help with relocation for those who will make a difference and bring forth a new and creative outlook on working together.

The management is poor. Human resources think they're the management and take over for the management. Human resources has no idea what they're doing. They caused chaos between employees and sitting there office doing nothing.
If Sodexo had the proper management at the places where they serve it might be an okay job however because management is so bad employees are leaving left and right.
One thing to remember is poor management makes for bad employees.
People without kids should be more understanding to people who have them. It's not easy being a working parent. Kids do get sick and all kids of things and these companies could care less. Threats against your job and what not have some compassion or understanding.
The management could be more respectful, compassionate,considerate,and understanding of people lives,be more of a team player instead of just standing around looking when someone is in need of help,no retaliation towards workers,some managers are racist and sexist so that needs to change quickly,they should not be allowed to talk to employees any kind of way,I feel managers should have training on how to handle employees and the should be held accountable for their wrong towards employees overall some sodexo managers sucks with nasty attitudes
