Its a call center
Patient Care Coordinator (Former Employee) - Bellevue, WA - November 30, 2023
They present the job as if you'll only be assisting patients through the on boarding process but they do count conversion towards your overall performance. You're meant to sell them on the procedure or at least get them in the door for the actual office to do it.

Decent Place to Work
Patient Ambassador (Former Employee) - Kirkland, WA - November 27, 2023
Sonobello call center was a decent place to work. Not much like other call centers but in a sense vey similar. I overall loved the company and felt that they really put a lot into professional development.

Great until it wasn't
Registered Nurse (RN) (Current Employee) - Memphis, TN - November 17, 2023
I was hired in as the registered nurse for the center. Sono Bello does liposuction. At first I felt like I had finally found the job for me. The company moves around leaders a lot and the turnover is horrible. They allocate a lot of money to the upper management team, while cutting hours for the clinical staff. When you agree to a job, you agree to certain things like schedule. When you change leaders at Sono Bello, they make their own rules. Sono Bello also does not follow state regulation policies. Lpns run the or and see post ops.

Aesthetics Technician (Former Employee) - Tampa, FL - October 27, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? I’m speaking for the office in Tampa. Great team spirit and management. Pay can be better What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Meeting monthly sales goals is very stressful because that’s how you’re evaluated. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Teamwork and minimal gossip. Working all the time. What is a typical day like for you at the company? For an aesthetics technician is performing body contouring and making sales all day. It get quite monotonous but talking to a variety of people makes it better.

Fun, but sales are pitted against clinical staff
RN (Current Employee) - Austin, TX - September 29, 2023
Fun place to be, but I feel like sales is pitted against nurses. Theres lack of communication between sales and medical staff. Pre ops are always thrown onto medical staff with no warning or preparation.

Mental health friendly, family oriented, room to grow within the company
Patient Ambassador (Current Employee) - Tulsa, OK - September 28, 2023
Iove working for Sono Bello it's so rewarding hearing the joy in a patient voice when setting up a consult to after having their procedure done, they are encouraging and spend one on one time coaching so if you start to slack in an area they help you improve. Overall I love working for Sono Bello

Fun and fast paced work environment
LVN (Former Employee) - Beverly Hills, CA - August 24, 2023
It was pretty fun working here. The job itself is pretty easy. Just have to be good at IVs, on top of charting, patient education, and patience. Knowledge of use of autoclave helps too!

Would not recommend
Patient Experience Specialist (Former Employee) - Pittsburgh, PA - August 18, 2023
Very underpaid for the work that you do. In this position you will be very overworked with no payoff. A horrible environment I don’t know why anyone would stay here.

overworked and underpaid
Nurse (Former Employee) - Tysons Corner, VA - July 6, 2023
If you want to work impossibly long shifts, have no life work balance, and clueless management and RN's go for it. I was bullied the entire time by the RN's. If you value your license, stay away.

Toxic Work Envinronment
Patient Experience Specialist (Former Employee) - Pittsburgh, PA - June 26, 2023
All they care about is sales, not about the actual patient. I saw some very unsavory business practices here. Hours were long, you are micromanaged at every turn.

Poor schedule, terrible pay
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) (Former Employee) - Indianapolis, IN - May 22, 2023
*The pay for nurses is extremely low and comparable to what new graduate nurses made in 2005. *You are very seldom able to get 40 hours per week and rarely any OT. *They have a "click" and job advancement is very unlikely unless you hang out with or are one of the people that runs to the upper management and gossips all of the time. *Their friends get good hours and all the closing shift go to everyone else. *They offer to give gift cards etc if you pick up a shift when someone calls in but you never get the "gift card" as indicated (only certain people get those). *The nursing staff that are doing all the surgeries, launching patients, flipping the ORs, doing pre-ops/post-ops, cleaning exam rooms, stocking all rooms and helping everyone when able while getting the lowest pay. The front office make $150,000.00 -$200,000.00 per year and get bonus pay for hitting certain goals (some nurses get bonus pay based on certain stipulations). *Paychecks are never the same from week to week making it difficult to stay on a budget and pay bills; and the benefits are terrible. *You are given a monthly schedule but it isn't set in stone and you never know for sure what your schedule will be for the next day until around 6-7:30 pm the night before. You could be going in at 5:30 am or closing at 7:00 pm you never really know until they text the schedule. *They hire you for 4 10 hour shifts then they change the schedule to 3 12 hour shifts and you NEVER get 40 hours per week. *A company is only as good as their word!!
Pros
Free lunch, great physicians
Cons
Poor benefits, terrible pay, gossip, impossible to get 40 hours per week, never have a paycheck that is the same from one week to the next, the schedule comes out for the next day between 6-7:30 pm the night before

Fun but stressful
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) (Former Employee) - Edina, MN - May 14, 2023
Great doctors but mostly you'll wind up excluded by senior nurses. Workload is too high for the pay grade. If you're strong in your mental health then great! If not, this place will crack you.

Decent role
Employee (Former Employee) - Kansas - May 8, 2023
Sono Bello is a good company to work for everything they stand for and their message is good! The main down fall I’ve experienced is that there is not much opportunity for a work life balance. You work 10 hour days then extra hours at the end of the month. It’s just hard to feel as though you are living a happy life when you work so much.
Pros
Good management
Cons
No time for anything else but Sonobello

Fast-paced enjoyable working environment
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) (Former Employee) - Troy, MI - May 7, 2023
My overall experience was great! Every staff member was exemplary and very easy to work with. The hours were reasonable. While the environment was very fast paced and extremely busy, it was definitely an awesome experience.
