Senior Software Development Manager in Boston, MA
on January 5, 2023
Sonos is a great high tech consumer product pioneer success story, it has stuck around from competing in the early 2000s with the audio companies (e.g. Bose) and then all big tech and their smart speakers. The company has a unique culture and great vibe. Technology-wise there are different areas to learn from, but on the software side it feels slower-paced and risk-adverse. Work life balance is generally good, although it depends on the group.
Technical Recruiter in Remote
on July 28, 2022
I liked working at Sonos as a Recruiter. But when I had mental health challenges after a year, an inexperienced manager was not sensitive to my needs and I had no choice but to leave.
Tier 1 Technical Support in Santa Barbara, CA
on October 18, 2021
As CS rep you had to keep a high approval rating above 90%. No loyalty from the company who it came to layoff. In 4 years I went through 3 layoffs. Always worried if I was going to let go do to low approval numbers if dropped under 85%!
Operations Specialist in Boston, MA
on July 7, 2021
I love working here, it’s hard to ever think of looking elsewhere. The best part about this company is the people. You are surrounded by so many unique, highly intelligent people. Not only is the product amazing, the culture is everything.

Great company. Defintely great culture and good growth opportunities. some groups no growth opportunities. Sense of feeling stuck is definitely high.
