I am a law enforcent employee working full time for NYS Courts during the day. I have been working overnights minimum 24 hours on the weekend part time for 5 years with SOS Secutity. I am armed working at a location in lower Manhattan Financial District where we haven't received a raise since the company took the contract overbfrom UPS making $20.00 an hour which is ridiculous. I don't know who to blame the accounts manager or the actual company. All of us on the job are either active or retired law enforcement which in all of our opinions is worth more then $20.00 an hour.

Frankly I am very p angry because one of the assistant managers that comes to check us told me not to get my Gun license because SOS has no hours for it . And now I go on indeed and I see 32/hr for Arm security. Apparently SOS HAS HOURS FOR IT if they are hiring security guards with Guns or retired cops with guns , I would like to move up in the company and I have been working for SOS since October 13 /2017 , so I’m going to get my fire Arm license.

Work environment was horrible! It's run by the buddy system! If your the sargeants buddy you can do whatever you want to do! Come in late! No problem! Area supervisor works by the snitch system. This is not a professional atmosphere at all! Stay out of the Richmond Virginia area!
