There is an initial screening test that needs to be taken via telephone. It consists of simultaneous and consecutive modes with mainly general vocabulary and some legal terminology. Once you pass, you take an intensive online course (work at your own pace but no longer than two weeks). Sosi pays for the course but you do not get paid for your time. Then you must pass an exam which includes consecutive, simultaneous and sight. After you pass you sign your contract and can begin with orientation and final evaluation.

As an Interpreter contractor I would say that the pace of my particular work assignments is normal once it is planned and scheduled correctly.

It wasn't to difficult from what I recall. I think the medical prep was the hardest thing to do. I don't recall a test of any sort unless the application for work was a test.
