It is very fast paced, Nurses on different floors could be more helpful to the new nurses.

Have all staff do team building exercises and explain to them that teamwork is important. Give staff coping mechanisms to handle patients that are less than happy and not very nice.

SDCH provides good experience for sub acute care, Pediatrics and geriatrics. Work environment was excellent before 2007 but soon after the administration policies changed and things became more complicated.

Advise of Staffing More Individuals. It Was Tough When Too Many Call Light Were On at The Same Time and Trying to Make a Decision Which Call Light Took Priority First at Times.

Everyone there is super chill, so dont be nervous about being interviewed. they are all super weird.

About two weeks. Interview process is first, then once you accept an offer you go through a week of orientation where they tell you all about the company. Then you have training with the other CNAs on the floor you are going to be working on.
