Fun and fast paced sales environment that never gets boring.
Sales Consultant (Current Employee) - Minneapolis, MN - September 30, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Definitely a work “family” vibe. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The most stressful part is when something goes wrong that is out of my hands and I am unable to fix it. Fortunately that isn’t very often. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It’s a fun group of people of different backgrounds and experience who make up a great work environment What is a typical day like for you at the company? “Typically” I start my with admin and planning out the details of my day. Then I travel around to different accounts building relationships, presenting new products, helping find solutions for the businesses I support.

I just waisted two years at a company that does not care about their employees
Merchandiser (Former Employee) - Reno, NV - September 22, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Working independently, store managers were great, physical activity What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Dishonest management, being stuck in a position with no room to accomplish goals, no guidance or encouragement, management only focuses on negative, working weekends, people in management have no experience or skills in their position, they definitely play favorites, seniority doesn't matter. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? New hires would get anything they wanted creating a hostile work environment for an employee that has been there longer and put in the work a What is a typical day like for you at the company? It was like working for a temp agency. You will not know where to begin your shift until the morning one hour before your shift. They don't see the whole picture in how important a stable schedule is especially if you are raising a child solely

Stressful but learned a lot
Inside Sales (Former Employee) - Miami, FL - September 18, 2023
This job has a ridiculous work load of calling hundreds of customers and consulting on their wine and spirits business. It’s constant calls and there is no way to keep up with what is expected & customers needs.

Sales Representative (Former Employee) - New Orleans, LA - September 15, 2023
Long hours and no money! Take a lunch and you will stay longer in the day. One pro is they pay on time but that is all. The management team can be tough to get along with

Standard Corporate Job
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) - Florida - September 14, 2023
This is a standard corporate office job. There is a lot of diversity which is really great. The perks depend on your specific manager. I had great times and bad times.

Productive and unbalanced workplace
CDL Class A Driver (Current Employee) - Indianapolis, IN - September 13, 2023
Management changes every few years. Union and company are not on the same team. Forced runs regardless of obligations. Seniority based so new hires are stuck with worst routes with micromanaged hours. Guaranteed 40 hours but have to fight to get 40 hours. Write ups for any breaks taken outside the normal break time. Management and Drivers are not on the same team. Lot of biased and emotional discernment within.

Jobs at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits
Best of the bottom of the barrel. Additional text because it says does not meet guidelines but does not make guidelines easily accessible
Merchandiser (Former Employee) - Nevada - September 10, 2023
For people with no functional skills this job pays decently and has excellent benefits. I dont have the wherewithal to say much more. Mainly Ive kept my mouth shut (because Im a team player) and it was grossly misinterpreted as weakness and taken advantage of. .So the good is pay and benefits .The bad is failure to understand when your skills arent being utilized and misinterpreting the resulting situation as inherently a problem with the employee and not as something more integral to operations and liabilities.

Cons

Productive work space
Warehouse Clerk (Former Employee) - 2501 W Hoover St - August 28, 2023
Lots of work and lots of customers but the managers and other workers always there to help when needed, this job was all about team work. I believed that this job helps you learn and grow.
Pros
The things they talked about while working was a bit disturbing.
Cons
No diversity I believe they only hired Hispanics permanently.

One of the worst employers ever.
Office Administrator (Former Employee) - Brainerd, MN - August 15, 2023
Refuse to allow you to leave even when off the clock for lunch. Don't let you use your benefits like vacation days, no reply from management about anything, expect extra workload due to being short staffed without ever getting a raise, following procedure and getting wrote up for doing it. The company refuses to follow ADA, and you sign a non-litigation agreement so you can't take them to court unless it's within your federally or state protected rights to do so, they give you health insurance and a 401k where the company matches your contribution, but when you're done working for the company, you don't get their contribution to the 401k, and they shut off the insurance even though you pre-paid for that month, or several.

Awful Job
Security (Former Employee) - Syracuse, NY - August 14, 2023
Company is rampant with bad management and no one cares at all about most anything. There are very few perks except an occasional pizza or other food. Poor mobility and an awful job.

Pitiful place
OTR Truck Driver (Former Employee) - Fort Worth, TX - August 14, 2023
This place is a joke. First of all, there are no signs indicating where is the shipping and receiving office. I had a 9:00 am appointment arrived early and now it's 13:30 still not in a door. Drivers if you deliver here make sure to pack a lunch and be prepared to burn your clock up. Absolutely ridiculous !! Oh and they open at 8:00am and take a lunch break @ 10:00am.. Pitiful place !!
Pros
No pros
Cons
The wait time is ridiculous

Good place to start career
Sales Consultant (Former Employee) - Texas - August 12, 2023
Nice people, good place to learn, but to much movement for the business to where it’s hard to have any stability. Great for people right out of college
