I enjoyed my time there at Southern Land. There were a lot of great people there. Unfortunately, the senior leadership came in with roles that made mine redundant. Other than that, I would still be there.
I really loved this place. I had an internship back in 2007 with hopes of coming on full-time in 2008. Unfortunately the stock markey crash occured and they weren't able to bring me on board. Suffice to say that this was the only downside of this company is the lack of job stability.

The typical work day involved a number of dysfunctional meetings where the owner and his son would go at it. There was no respect for anyone, regardless of title. People are hired and fired without any review of their work or previous experience. More is based on looks than knowledge.
Management is unorganized. Pay rate is not what it should be. Co-workers stay on their cell phones and don't do their jobs. The most enjoyable part of my job is the residents that live there. I have met many new great people. The hardest part of the job is the unorganized management.
