Receptionist in Greenville, NC

Busy work, Rude clients, No Money
Clients are rude to employees and company does not stand up or back up employees. Not worth the money. Only good part was the animals. Coworkers and doctors can be very petty. Management likes to talk about other employees to other employees. They don’t appreciate anything anyone does unless you kiss butt.

*SVP has rolled out new programs for all staff members which makes training, company policies, and communication very easy. *A typical day at work is seeing a team of people putting their heart and knowledge into providing the best care for all animals. *Being lead by Veterinarians has big bonuses as they understand the day to day challenges. *Employee welfare is number one, a safe and healthy staff fosters a positive work environment. *The most enjoyable part of my job is encouraging others to find their passion in this field. *The hardest part is keeping up with the growth rate in our community, creating new work flows to meet the needs of clients and patients.

SVP is a great organization for individuals both new and established in their career. The company values individuals' ideas and opinions and rewards hard work. I can't imagine having the opportunities that have been afforded to me anywhere else, and I look forward to continuing my development at SVP for years to come.
Kennel Worker in Waynesville, NC
on February 13, 2021
The place where I was employed went completely down hill after we went corporate with this company. Our clinic lost the original family owned feel. We were promised that we were just merging with the company and it would serve as a partnership. We were also led to believe that things would be “the same or better” once this company became involved. During our initial meeting with the company with all the workers from the clinic they made sure to let us know that we now worked under them as opposed to what we were previously told. The follow up meeting that we had with a representative of the company was futile for any concerns we had. Any questions that were asked were brushed aside with comments like “I would be happy to get with my colleagues to see if we could work something out” or my personal favorite that was repeated multiple times “I can’t really answer that for sure.”
Veterinary Technician in Waynesville, NC

This place does not care about you at all! They are there to make the Doctors happy and make sure they are getting all the $$$. What you sell, like a product or BW, (sales car person) They get the commission from it. You get nothing, but a hard time and tons of stress. Please don't let this company fool you, that they are "family". It's a lie!! As a tech, you have to load rooms, put your boys in and the doctors, do your vitals, and check them out, plus more. What sad , JAH used to be a great place before they went corporate. What a joke it is now.
