I'm 52years old and my whole life I wanted to work for an airline company. I was wondering if being as old as I am, that my age might pose a problem with being able to work in some of your companies departments?

I work in Hobby Airport Houston TX as an agent of Southwest Airlines. It's a great company to work with. Age, color, race, gender or belief are no barrier to employment. It's a complete cool place to work. Good benefit. Good coworkers. Good management. Good everything. Try and apply today.

I was 51 years old when I was hired by American Airlines to work in their Admirals Club. I don't know about Southwest but I would hope that they would NOT discriminate..

Age is just a number. If you are mentally & physically fit with a positive attitude & enjoy traveling & enjoy customer service while putting safety first; then you should apply today. You are never too old to enjoy a new career that makes you happy. Go for it!

I'm 53 and just got back into the Airlines 2 years ago. The only airline I know who doesn't like to hire older is Alaska. They usually want younger.
