Billing Clerk in San Antonio, TX

It was ok until layoff. Office was close to home. I liked my work. If the office was still open in San Antonio, Texas I would be working there. The hours were flexible.

You don’t get paid holidays/sick time/personal. Any time off is used through your own earned time. Those of us that got Covid have zero time left. No support from management. No raises. They play favorites.
Patient Care Assistant in Middleburg Heights, OH
on June 12, 2022
I worked at this hospital for 2 years. It’s a perfect learning experience for nursing students for sure. I myself has learned a whole ton diseases, disorders and procedures that I’ve never even heard of. What had me resign is the constant patient sitting. They CONSTANTLY pull PCA’s out to patient sit (like 1:1 baby sitting) which will give other PCA’s a bigger patient ratio. The ratio it’s either heavy or light. Not only it isn’t fair for us Aides it’s also dangerous and extremely stressful. I’m all for patient safety but there has to be another way to keep patients safe. Other hospitals I’ve worked at had tele sitters (watching patients through a camera), more patient companions, some hospital facilities have enclosure beds etc. sometimes management needs to think of other alternatives instead of constantly pulling aides off the floor because they think it’s a perfect solution. That’s why people like myself have quit.
PCA Personal Care Assistant in Middleburg Heights, OH

N/A i rather not tell all of my experiences I'm still new and I'm still getting the hang of things I will say management isn't organized but the director of the hospital seems very nice and honestly interacts with everyone.
Counselor in Middleburg Heights, OH
on March 29, 2022
Anyone in the mental health field needs to stay clear of this place. The mental health and substance use treatment is run like a medical floor. Counselors have no say, they're just paid help.
