I saw one RN colleague have a completely calm and normal patient committed just because the patient asked the nurse to turn down her television and to keep an unstable male patient out of her room. She succeeded. I believe she list her license but that was the last straw for me.
It is the most toxic environment I have ever experienced. Doctors waking me and my family up at night, threatening us to give referrals to our patients out to them..the list of 8nappropriate behavior is long and shocking.
