It’s a wonderful place to work. The management is top notch. Management works very hard to fill your schedules. It’s a fun atmosphere and very helpful coworkers we all encourage each other and support each other. I love my job as a massage therapist the best part of this job is going in and knowing that your team is behind you.

This spa stays busy so you will always be booked. I learned a lot about spa treatments and skin care. Management is fantastic! The hardest part of the job is time to turn over the room, as you only get 10 minutes to do so. The most enjoyable part of the job was the people I worked with.

Kept busy

Always busy which is good. Downfall you get 10 minutes turnover time and that includes when you finish your previous facial then you wait for your guest to come out of the room..walk them to the locker room, put product out, then expected to go run back in your room change over the laundry, and set up for your next service within basically one minute

There is not a boring moment - whether interacting with the guest and co-workers. There should be more emphasis "A sense of belonging" so that harmony amongst co-workers will flourish. Leadership Team should set good examples and be able to lead from the front not leading from behind. Listening more to the team members and making sure that they are heard.

Spavia has been an amazing workplace, during my past two years of employment here I have enjoyed everyday that I am at work. The owner and manger are very flexible and understanding. All of my coworkers are very respectful and helpful in any situation. I never feel overwhelmed or stressed at work, it is a very calming setting. Everyone is always happy to be there and do their job, my coworkers have become like family to me. The workload is never too much and I love doing all my tasks while at work!

Toxic work environment. I was discriminated upon. I was wrongfully terminated. There is lot of gossip. I do not recommend this job.

A typical day at work is answering the phone, emails, and making appointments along side cleaning. I learned nothing. Management is horrible. Work culture is toxic. The hardest part of the job is dealing with the management. I enjoyed nothing.

This locations management plays favorites. The front desk staff fill in schedules based on working relationships with therapists. It's discouraging. Plus you don't get paid for downtime. Get ready to be asked to clean toilets and help with other projects that have nothing to do with your license. The upside is you get to work alongside some amazing people.

Great Place to Start

Spavia is a good place to start your career in esthetics. It's probably better than starting at Massage Envy or something similar. I worked at the Boulder location, and this was all pre-covid. The company is definitely good at marketing and business development because I was always busy. Compensation was okay... Again, it's a good place to start, but don't expect to spend your whole career here. Turnover rates were high, but I think any opportunity to learn and grow is in the hands of the person taking a role...

Friendly management and ownership

It is a nice place with nice coworkers and bosses. It’s moderately busy for massage therapists but as an esthetician I didn’t have enough bookings per week to make a living. Such a shame, they should advertise more or add more services to their list but it’s a corporate company and they can’t manage the locations individually. They treat their employees well and provide everything for them to do their job best. I wish the money was better, I would’ve never left.

Lovely workplace

My bosses and coworkers are all so sweet and everyone was so welcoming when I first started so I never had to feel uncomfortable or out of place. We get amazing discounts and free lunches on Saturdays. We also get a paid break. I have nothing negative to say about working here 😊

Clients are great. Great tips and I would say for the most part I stay booked. We get to learn a lot at this location with reps coming all the time. I feel supported and they have been really flexible with me. Management pushes us to succeed and does set goals for us but they are always fair and do everything they can to help us reach those goals. Important to note, this is a day spa: Not medical. They are bringing in new modalities for us though so I am excited about that.
