High School All Over Again
Pharmacy Technician (Former Employee) - Ridgefield Park, NJ - June 25, 2020
Kiss some rear end to get in with the cool kids and you’ll do great. Work hard and get taken advantage of. Such is the culture at this company. If all you care about is clocking in and getting a check, by all means, apply. This is not a bad place. If a career is what you’re looking for be prepared to suck up to management. Promotions and raises are rare and only given to friends of management. And if you do get one, get it in writing and notarized otherwise they act like it was never discussed and proceed to their benefit and to your detriment. No communication between departments. No one knows anything. I can’t tell you how many times I got a call meant for another department and when I say I will transfer them to the right place, they complain about being transferred to several places with no help (record when I left was seven transfers with no help).
I’m at a new pharmacy and I can tell you I am much happier. The toxicity and favoritism at specialty pharmacy is beyond belief.
Pros
A small gift card on your birthday, weekly pay, free coffee.
Cons
Toxic work environment. They will work you down to the bone until you aren’t useful anymore.

Making you work like slave, they are not organized, if you sick and text manager no reply and if you leave they will question you. No raise, and when you hired they give an amount after 3 months you suppose to get you agree on, it will not happen until you suffer for like 4 to 5 months. No pay back what they you.
Pros
Gift cards
Cons
The company is a mess no proper equipment. And they don't care about employees.

Don't be fooled by there false advertising, you will be here all night. Work is basically like an assembly line job. It is tedious and Management changes every year 😅 turnover rate is crazy. Don't try to offer smart decisions to people either there ego may get offended.
Pros
Lots of hours and it is easy to shine with less competition
Cons
Too many hours/ Overtime Required, Tedious Stressful work environment, find out when u get hired good luck
