Had phone interview then passed that and went on to do the face to face interview at the Greensboro location. I thought i did great but then they asked the question of "Have you ever bent policy to assist a customer? which i believe is a trick question. Every interview I've ever had i passed except this one so be careful
I got laid off on a cable company that I work for a for 15 years I saw their ad on indeed applied for it I got a call had a great phone interview then I went to my second interview with two really nice people talking to me I felt it went really well they seem to like me I'm very experienced it was for the commercial I did work in the residential but I can be trained I'm willing to learn anything I love the cable industry plus I have a great letter of recommendation from my previous manager because of my background they said that I will hear from them in a couple of weeks well it's been a couple of weeks no email no call back no nothing I just wonder did I get the job or not was I overqualified I feel they should at least email me to let me know either way
I applied and it was several weeks later I received a text from a recruiter. We set up a time for them to call me and after speaking to the recruiter I received a link to do a video interview (not live). About a week after my video interview I received an email from the hiring manager wanting to meet in person. Very informal interview. The next day I was asked to speak to a Sales Director, which was over the phone. Shortly after that interview I received an email offering me the position.
Must complete application and pass assessment. Phone interview if you have call center experience. Face to face interview by a supervisor then next round a manager then job offer. Stay on your best interview game when applying for the spectrum in Greensboro NC. Decent pay and great benefits customer are nerve wrecking though. Metrics system is kind of crazy other than that good job! Free cable services to all employees!
Real simple & quick process
1. Applied & did assessment
2. Recruiter called the next day
3. Face to face schedule the day after the recruiter called
4. Face to face offered position
Applied for Internet/phone tech. First supervisor started with basic questions: how would you handle this situation etc. Then followed the tech questions:
how to find an IP Address.
How to help personalize a WiFi for a customer
Second supervisor asked more personable questions with a few tech questions as well. There was an optional question: What do you know about VOIP.
Overall just do tech question research!
I applied online on Wednesday and for a phone interview by Friday then at up for face-to-face interview with supervisor then that next morning was offered the billing customer service position. Super excited and seems like it is a great pleasant place to work and the pay and benefits are decent. So if you apply gel free to use me as a referral (Terri Allen) TIA
