I always advise you dress up as dress casual. This could either be dress shirt, tie, slacks, and dress shoes or polo shirt, shirt underneath, nice pants (preferably slacks, never jeans), and dress shoes
Dress in clean clothes, and you should be fine! The culture is very relaxed! We wear pjs on certain days because of tasks

I would say to dress professionally. The nice thing about Spencer Gifts is that you don't have to fit the pretty girl sales look. However, that being said, you do need to dress appropriately. You don't have to change your hair color, hide tattoos or take out your jewelry. You do need to wear nice clothing, look well groomed and show some professionalism. I wouldn't wear a 3 piece suit, but don't wear ripped up jeans and a low-cut belly shirt.

For spencer's, you can dress nice or punky girly. our store had all sorts of different people working there. we had the most girly to goth. and we all got along. spencer's does not base hire on your clothes. we want someone who will be a hard worker and get along with our team. just come in as yourself.

Punk business casual would be fine. Just be polite, quick to answer, and always be honest, overall just be yourself!

Spencer's is definitely leaning away from the "culture" it once had. It's extremely accepting of all applications despite looks. Most of my staff had little to no tattoos, wore what they felt comfortable in and for awhile I was the only one with unnatural colored hair. I would wear what shows your style but will not distract during the interview because regardless of the reputation, it's still a professional job interview.

Casual dressy is the best way to go. Over dressing is definitely a possibility for these interviews.

I would dress casual. Spencer's is a very down to earth place.

You should wear whatever you want as long as it doesn't have swear words or is revealing. The atmosphere is great and they accept everyone.
