This job really got me out of my comfort zone. My team members along with management are all amazing. Hours are not what you would want if you are looking for something over 25hrs a week. Great job if you love working in customer service and retail.

Not a good job if you want to make a living. The peek season only lasts 3 months out of a year and it's back to no work. You would have to work 2 job's to make ends meet. Rules are like prison/elementary school.

Spencer distribution center use to be a good place to work at until the new management now its horrible getting rid of all of the loyal long time employees only want temps do not care about their employees at all no good benefits fired several long term people for all the wrong reasons have too many pets and they will fire you if you don't go along with them CORPORATE needs to look into why all these loyal long term employees were fired

Spencer's is not the place to work. Management and recruiter were very rude and they are always running out of work, but they are steady bringing in people all the time. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the front for break, and their is nowhere sit in the break-room. You do not get the whole break, and you have to go back before the bell ring. They act like everything has to be in a rush.

Picker on Line (Former Employee) – Charlotte, NC – October 11, 2017
The management was never understanding and wanted you to work harder then they pay. You would never see a full weeks check bc they have you off most fridays and always change schedule at the last min and want you to neglect life. I was very unfair when they tell you 5 min before leaving you have to come in early or come on a sunday. They was mean at times to you!
paying invoices, answering calls, filing and entering information of all stores onto a spreadsheet, comparing rates against different truck companies, sometime stressful but overall perfect team I worked with!
