Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) – Torrance, PA – July 23, 2014
A typical day started at 5:30AM. I learned about the problems that society had with Drugs. We had 3 counselors at this facility along with a Nurse and Security Person along with the Executive Director that ran the Facility. Out of the 3 Counselors there were 2 that really put their heart and soul into taking care of the clients. I was not pleased with the Management they changed things to suit their time schedule which made it hard for the clients.
The most difficult part of this job was seeing clients that were my daughters age addicted to drugs. The most enjoyable part of this job was seeing the clients that wanted to get help leave the program and live a normal healthy life without drugs.
The Program helped those who helped themselves get clean

SPHS has the worst management around they are rude they are mean to their clients they are total disrespect to their staff management is only in it for the money they have no idea how to deal with mental health patients clients They don’t understand half of the programs that they are running nor do they care to understand them which causes a problem when staff tries to do their job They do not want to collaborate with other agencies other workers they micromanage their staff
Breastfeeding Peer Counselor (Current Employee) – Greensburg, PA – November 5, 2018
Sphs is a nice company to work for. If I had not been demoted to part time due to budget cuts, I would still be there. I worked in a busy office but co workers and I all worked together to make our schedule run smoothly. We rarely saw upper management. Our office was a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The best part was helping our families.
