I never understood Spirits hire of first level managers, off the street. Most the mechanics/binders I know have been managers, owners of thier own aviation shops prior. Is the highest percentage of former/retired military I've ever worked with before. If the upper management would step back, just approve our leave, let us know of new things, just give us the daily products needed, we know HOW to do the jobs we were trained to do. Let us do them. They must stop micro managing. But to be fair to first levels they are pushed to do just that by the upper management. Many first levels hired never worked in Aviation before. Some car sales, some restaurant managers and so on. Yet I've been in aviation maintenance since 87 yet I'm told " you dont understand" a lot. 6 months later I sit back and smile when they are told by upper management " why are you not doing it this way?" Lol is ok I tell myself, over and over,'was only 6 months this time '
