Good experience. Demanding work

Indeed Featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
I found that working with my coworkers and supervisors was harder than the customer service aspect with guests. The training was demanding and they weren’t encouraging at all. I noticed that many of the flight attendants, trainers, and supervisors were on a power trip and it was really tiring. Unlike other airlines, your rest period is short, crew scheduling sometimes takes an hour to answer the phone, and you hardly have control over your schedule until you move up in seniority. I did enjoy the job at first, but when COVID hit, it was not enjoyable for many. It is a really good job for beginners and it’s very beneficial on a resume! I still recommend it if you really want it!

Flexible

Pretty good schedule flexibility and great benefits. Direct contribution retirement plan of 15% into your 401k. Leadership lacks direction with the JetBlue merge looming.

Don't waste your time.

What is the best part of working at the company? There is none. There is barely no work when it comes to the QA dept because they'd rather leave documents out of date and features untested. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Asking for work that should have been completed and addressed years ago. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Toxic. Unsupportive. Territorial. Competitive. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Boring. Sitting like a duck. It's like being in school and the cool kids are your teachers.

High volume and stress

You are always busy and the work is piled on. Management doesn’t care if you are new and frown upon asking too many questions. It’s stressful and a lot to deal with all day long.

Pros

Occasional events in office

Cons

Constant and high volume stressful tasks

Poor management

We had to deal with customers without any answers to their flight cancellations. Additionally, the pay is at the minimum wage. We should get more benefits and higher pays for working there.

Lots of travel!

Great place to start to get your foot in the door of aviation! Easy to transfer bases and lots of bases on the east coast. Some bases are harder to move up than others.

Flexible Work Schedule

I like the freedom and flexibility with this company but pay and working conditions for reserve FA’s suck. You may or may not get used and that’s crazy cause they’re constantly hiring. Why hire more than you need?

Lots of room to grow

If you want to stay in aviation, this is a good start. Lots of room to grow into different areas in the company but also can be a hard job in the summer.

it is very good.Depending on your base you can gain seniority quick and have a flexible schedule. Also depending on the base you wont see alot of international layovers. Company is growing and is nice if you’ve never flown before.
