The sports-themed haircutting franchise, which specializes in haircuts for men and boys, offers online check in for clients, and ranks #30 in the Entrepreneur “Franchise 500” for 2023 and is listed in Franchise Direct’s 2021 “Top 100 Global Franchises”. There are almost 1,900 Sport Clips stores open in the U.S. and Canada. Sport Clips is the “Official Haircutter” of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), offers veterans preferential pricing on haircuts and franchises, and was named a 2021 Top Franchise for Veterans by Entrepreneur. Sport Clips provides “Haircuts with Heart” through its annual Help A Hero fundraiser that has contributed $13 million to the VFW; national partnership with St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants; and other national and local philanthropic outreach. Sport Clips is a proud sponsor of NASCAR’s Joe Gibbs Racing team and SRX Racing, and partners with other NCAA and professional sports teams.

Had a temporary job here for a month. Owner of shop and atmosphere was stressful

had a temporary job here as a desk receptionist and shampoo girl in 2015 and it was a terrible job. the salon was very understaffed(only two stylists working), job was stressful, the manager was sweet but the actual shop owner wasn't very likable. because it was just a temporary job, the owner basically paid me under the table and she barely paid me anything(only received one paycheck out of three...

Fun place to work

Just basic, might be good if you're fresh out of school

Haircuts are really too cheap, they want loyalty to the company not the stylist. You'll have to move everyday. Knockouts the competitor is definitely a better place to work. You have the freedom to shampoo your clients how you want too, as well as cut how you choose. They want you to cut hair like a basic stylist out of hair school.
