I Passed Up A Great Opportunity To Work Here

When hired, I was told that it was a long term position with the chance to promote within the company. I passed up an opportunity with another company and accepted the position with Sprinkler Warehouse. I was let go a couple months later at the end of their peak season. If they were truthful about only needing me for the season, I would have made a different decision. The only positive outcome was that I did receive unemployment until I secured another job.

Pros

Easy work

Cons

Untruthful Management

Easy job, good management, and decent pay

Job was easy to learn (can learn the basics in less than a day).Management was always there if you had a question. They would rather you ask them a question then you waste time trying to figure it out yourself (and possibly get it wrong which could lead to other issues).Coworkers were cool and would help if you needed it.

Pros

Good management, easy job, decent pay

Cons

Seasonal work

Noone honest at this company at all

This company is full of it!! They claim to be hiring order selectors right now and that they supposedly need help really bad, yet I applied with this sorry company over a month ago now and other than me having to call them and see what my application status was i never got any kind of communication from this company at all.

Was a good place to work. Company had opportunities.

I worked with good people. Was a very good environment. I was able to help people with technical trouble shooting via the phone and over the counter. I was able to help homeowners/contractors with knowledge i have learned in my years in the business. that was the rewarding part when someone would say thank you.

productive workspace

it was a good job temporarily for full time. But now I'm looking for a part time job to fit both school and work in a day and not stress so much about my daily routines of work and school.

Laid back but stay busy

For the 3 days I work at the Sprinkler Warehouse it was pretty laid back but you had to move fast and stay busy when there weren't any orders to pull but unfortunately I was unable to stay long since they didn't need the extra due to less orders being made.

Fun and educational environment that could be stressful for some

I was a student intern at Sprinkler Warehouse working Thursdays and Fridays. On a typical day, I would edit a training video or set up lights and camera for videos about how to use sprinkler equipment. The job was fun, and I learned a lot about the filmmaking industry. With that said, it is a fast-paced environment, and as such, it can be quite stressful, especially when the management, though always reasonable, needs to get things done right away.

Pros

Pleasant atmosphere, educational, fun

Cons

Stressful

Great job for the summer while the team managers are considerate

When working in the factory, you would go in at 7 and come out at 5, depending on the amount of orders that came in that day. I myself was taught to be very prompt, but the hard part is the heat in the Texas summer.
