The pace was slow where management actually penalized employees who took initiative to help the clients resolve customer satisfaction and delivery performance issues. Just follow orders, don't think.

For such a big division it's possible that the managers, who both have good reputations, might need some more evaluation in what they're requiring with too stringent call times to allow employees to do a good job and satisfy the customers plus non adherence is dealt with by handing out penalties to workers instead of working on solutions. It's also possible that 'running the ship' so tightly as your mandate for profitability and for reasons in adhering to customer contracts (i.e. not racking up financial penalties for failing to meet contractual obligations) is highly important and truly essential but it's still not possible on many, many calls to adhere to that time frame and answer the questions and needs of the callers we are contracted to assist....and an inaccurate call, with call standards becoming more stringent, seemingly daily (to which I do not object! but can add to call time in some instances) it's a double penalty for low scores or failures on calls coupled with penalties handed out for not meeting time constraints on calls.
