Managers are often absent and don't communicate personally with employees. Change the culture to discourage micromanagement. Decrease email. Require monthly department meetings. Require managers to speak to employees and obtain verification that face-to-face communication is occurring. Simplify the Culture Statement to one-word definitions such as 'teamwork', as opposed to paragraphs that frequently use the EXTREMELY SUBJECTIVE term "manage-up".

Thorough. My interview for the last position at Obgyn was lacking on their part. They were not forthcoming on what was happening in their office, or I would not have taken the job. Their office was going through a lot of problems, and changes and it was not a good time to be switching to their office.
