I was an internal transfer to another department. From my interview to job offer, waited 5 weeks, I almost gave up. Then they say you have to give 3 weeks notice to transfer, and it had to be on the start of a payday. So I didn't set foot in my new position for another 5 weeks. So 8 weeks total. Which really messes up your enthusiasm.

It depends on how desperate they are to fill the position. I submitted an application and received a call within a few hours. The interview was set up within 2 days and would have been sooner if I had been available. They asked me to attend orientation before I had fullfilled my 2 weeks notice at my current position. The manager tried to convince me to start earlier and for go giving my notice to current employer. Interestingly enough if you give less than 2 weeks notice at St. Luke's then you are considered non- rehirable.

The Talent Acquisition team is always available to answer your questions about the process, and help you along the way.
