Work life balance
Pastry Cook (Former Employee) - Atlanta, GA - March 15, 2022
There is no work life Balance Very understaffed. I never actually found time for myself, I was always working. It could be great if it was staffed properly given the amount of business the hotel does. Overall I loved my coworkers, worked very well as a team
Pros
Great benefits
Cons
No time for yourself

Houseman (Former Employee) - Buckhead, GA - November 28, 2021
Housekeeping is bad not enough time to do your work because it’s running around all day for other Unnecessary things. Houseman have too many things to do during the day it’s a lot of running for the ladies as far as housekeepers.. it’s under staff in any more people. Some of the management to talk to you like they’re crazy. If it was more organized it’ll be a better environment
Pros
Free lunch
Cons
No breaks only lunch

Management is sub par
Executive committee only cares about bottom line not the employees. HR is hard to get appointment with. Co workers are nice. Pay is good. Benifits are ok.
Pros
Free ski pass

I loved working at st. Regis SF and wish I could return! I left hotel in 2017 to take opportunity in Las Vegas and you never know how much a job and the people at a job mean to you until your somewhere else. Having worked there for 8 years, I can truly say St. Regis was the best job and best Address I have ever worked at! TE

Bad management
Guest Service Representative (Current Employee) - Río Grande, PR - May 1, 2021
Management isn’t the best. Started off well, now its anyones game and there isn’t respect for employees. Work is not appreciated or valued by anyone. Over work, no PTO is approved, but the massive amounts of work must be fulfilled by one single employee. If they do OT or don’t finish in time they get penalized. Understaff is another huge problem. No organization.
Pros
Lunch is included.
Cons
Bad management.

Wish They never Sold the Hotel.
Massage Therapist/Esthetician (Former Employee) - Princeville, HI - January 2, 2020
I really did like this job. However everything changed once the hotel sold and the spa became union.Booking of appointments to staff is very out dated and needed to be distributed evenly. It could still go by seniority but round robin style. That was my only complaint was the work load was not distributed fairly and in order to have a even work load without injury and to make sure every one has enough work so you don't constantly need to hire new staff they need to figure out how appointments are distributed.

Management
Front Desk Receptionist (Former Employee) - Atlanta, GA - October 22, 2019
Overall a good job but don’t look to move up in the company if they don’t like you. The pay is not all that good for the amount they charge a night for a room.
