If you were in charge, what would you do to make Stanley Black & Decker a better place to work?
Act on things that will change results rather than using layoffs to balance the books. It creates trust issues and horrible culture.
What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at Stanley Black & Decker?
Don't bother, they are eventually going to send your job over seas or across the southern boarder for cheap, cheap labor!!!!!!! So why waste your time interviewing and building great teams and work families here in America. No point, jobs will be gone, no matter what you do!!!!
Can some one work at Stanley with a felony for drugs? It was 11 to 12 years ago should I be concerned?
I have 2 felonies over ten years old and they are very insignificant charges. I was in the hiring process and this was where I got axed. It was a decision of convenience. If you are a yes man and have good people skills it will help your chances but there is no guarantee.
Good hours three shifts. mostly start on second or third shift and our move to day shift usually day shift is not open unless you work there and apply from within.
