The job just wasn't consistent enough for my needs in life. It was very slow during the slow months and extremely busy during the busy months which makes budgeting difficult.

BRANCH MANAGER (Current Employee) –  Lenexa, KSMarch 18, 2018
This is a good company to work for but it is not family friendly at all. This is the only down fall other than that good company. The only other thing I would change is the communication between the GM and branch manager.
Pros
Nice work environment
Cons
Not family friendly

CSR - Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Dublin, OHMarch 5, 2018
If you're looking for a temporary sales job, this is it. Incentives for sales are low and calls are high frequency, however, they are lenient and will work with you as far as corrections go. Not sure why i'm being asked to review this now after such a long time but it was a good job all around. I would recommend this to a younger crowd, particularly college age range.

Cleaning Crew (Former Employee) –  Denver, COMarch 3, 2018
Great place to work in air duct cleaning. Carpet cleaner job sucks but good pay on average I made about $22 an hour working the air duct cleaning side. It’s all commission based but you have job site for you in the morning management is OK you have to be clean-shaven if you’re a male which sucks but I guess it’s ok

Can be great money, if you can hustle..
Crew Chief (Former Employee) –  Saginaw, MIFebruary 27, 2018
If you hustle and up sell you can make good money. The owner of the Stanley Steemer I worked at was pretty cheap with his employees, even management. expect to get worked to the bone in the summer, and forgot about in the winter. Expect to clean very nasty carpet, a lot of pet urine. The best part of the job was working with the fellow carpet cleaners, awesome comradery.

comradery

Alot of work and travel for little pay
Carpet Cleaner (Former Employee) –  Marion, INFebruary 26, 2018
Almost every day is a 12 hour day, you get up at 5 am and get home at 6 pm. You are expected to travel everyday, sometimes an hour trip each way just for one job. If you are unlucky, they tack on a job on your way home. Scheduling is terrible because they never tell you if you're working or not until the day before.
Cons
scheduling, low pay, long days

You like rusty pipes without the lube?
Technician/Driver (Former Employee) –  Syracuse, NYFebruary 25, 2018
Zero efficiency, Priorities are backwards. Very narrow minded thinking, and fired me for a couple small infractions instead of firing an employee who was there half the amount of time i was and for totalling a $60,000 van and damaging another.
When you work here you have no life or free time. expect to work 50 plus hours per week during the summer and 20 hours in the winter.
You are essentially always on call, and if you don't maintain a $50.00 add on average per house you get demoted.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Everything
