Great collaboration. Some flexibility. Above market pay for starting but poor rate increases, so-so benefits. Not easy to take time off. Really cares for the clients and tries to do what is right for them. Great opportunity to learn and grow professionally. Heartbreaking to see frequent relapses but that is the nature of the field.
Housekeeper in Center Point, TX
on November 1, 2021
Do NOT attempt a housekeeper position at this company. For only $12 an hour they gladly work you to death. If you have problems even with proper documentation and excuse from medical teams they still get mad at you for being out. Working 6 days in a row is a norm. Poor management. Everything is always back and fourth. Unless you want to be worked to death at a place that doesn’t care about you as an individual, Starlite is a terrible place to look for employment.

The company is a disaster, they treat their employees horribly. The clients run the show, all they have to do is stomp their feet and put in a 4hr notice (to discharge) and management will bend over backwards to make sure the client gets what they want, not what they need, but what they want. No real recovery, clientele are mostly returning clients who know that they can come back over and over and over again. They burn out the good employees then wonder why they have such a high turnover, keep your head down and do as you’re told or you’re gone. The CEO allows clients that have severe psych to admit even after all of the other managers/directors say no. It’s just awful.
Detox Charge Nurse in Center Point, TX 78010
on May 25, 2021
Management does not care about your personal needs when out sick with COVID. You do not get paid for time off with COVID. Lack of communication and cohesion between nurses, shifts and management. Lack of communication between Director of Nursing and nurses. No support from management during time off for medical reasons.
