New management only care about their money, they don’t care about the employees, management had a office party with a bonus while the field employees worked throughout COVID & did not receive anything,With no management the company is losing contact left and right. Treats field employees poorly, gives you the run around when asked for a reason will tell you to just pick up more overtime, they’ll sneak out of the office and go home while you still more & wont inform you about holidays

Dedication and common sense are a must. Heavy repair is not for everyone. Safety first. Never rush at a job. Every day is a learning experience so don't think that you know it all.

Not a good company to work for, horrible management, not understanding, treats employees unfairly, would highly not recommend. I would pursue anyone to work elsewhere
Modernization/Construction Mechanic in 5 Burroughs and Yonkers

Working in the elevator industry is very uplifting. To be one of the people who provides new Vertical transportation for so many people is very rewarding. Working at Start Elevator is both of these things. Starting work at 7am finishing most days at 3:30, plenty of time to get home and spend with family. Started out as an helper (apprentice), worked my way to mechanic, full benefits, $70k plus benefits. Its not a job, its a career.
