I was always going to work with a smile and wanting to help customer as much as I could, went out many ways to help them but sometimes was impossible due to statues and government laws. Must always follow law at all times.

I enjoyed working for the state. The job was not hard at all, the training was very thorough and the manager support was always there. The only problem I had was with the pay.

If you want to work for an Agency that will replace you with no explanation, and not value you as an employee, DCS is for you. They treat people like numbers, work you to death and don't care about your well-being. Run far away from this agency.

The training was not comprehensible. Maybe because it was work from home or maybe because the archaic computer program that their system runs in (from the early 80’s!) I consider myself a smart person and fast learner but I had trouble grasping the job because I didn’t know what I was doing after training ended . I didn’t feel very supported.

The top leadership in the Medical licensing division are subpar and toxic as managers. There is no training, no respect for peoples opinions, and a real authoritarian management style. HR is not helpful either.
