Many people start off as temps and are then hired on full time. Interviews are set up with one candidate in mind but they have to make the position available to the public.
It’s difficult to get out of bed in the morning. Management is inexperienced and have no clue what they’re doing. Low morale and they find reasons to write you up. They will believe an angry stranger over a long time employee. Horrible place to work with the Department of Revenue.
Applied for the youth specialist CO position. I was placed on the eligibility list then about 1 month later received an interview invitation ... Then 2 weeks later after interview received a call offering me the position then later that same day was sent an official offer letter from director. Took 2 more weeks after that for background, drug test, & physical test after this waited 1 more week for 1st day of orientation then training began & work began.
I worked for the State Auditor’s office and she lacks the proper management and communication skills needed for her assistant. She stated that she was always available to answer questions yet would get visibly upset when a que was asked. She has a temper and condescension was her favorite tool to use with me. Warning.
