Almost never. You are at will workers and they will fire you without cause and not tell you the reason. They do not care about you. Kansas is very employer friendly and they have worked a way around having to have just cause to kick you to the curb. That's what they do to. Take your gear on the spot and walk you out the door as if you were criminal.
