Secure employment but it gets repetitive and you must relocate for advancement
Written by Workforce Development Specialist III (Former Employee) from DeRidder, LA on April 1, 2020
The work hours are ideal, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm in most cases. The work is repetitive once you learn your duties in most cases, which can be a good or bad thing depending on your preferences. The pay is not extremely high if you aren't in a leadership position, but you receive other benefits like PTO, Sick leave, Pension/Retirement. No social security benefits - more...
Pros
Job security, benefits, set schedule
Cons
Repetitive, can get a bad supervisor, lower pay, not as many local opportunities for advancement
