Unfortunately, yes. They even create temp jobs specifically for those they know, to apply and "get in". They also sort through and weed out those who are not related or in "the club".
These facts were mentioned to me via employees that have been there for decades. I thought it was all blown out of proportion, until i experienced it for myself once i became employed.
