Don’t work for the Missouri Veterans Commission. Very underpaid. ..High turn over rate They use the mandate system an work you to death. They don’t care about their residents their staff or your family...an they never do anything to make things better it’s a one way street

I cry either while getting ready for work or in the car on the parking lot of my job. I have anxiety, panic attacks and depression thinking about starting a new day at work everyday. This place is not good for your mental health. I dread each day because of Children’s Division.

Not to do it. Do not waste your time. Lowest paid state job in the nation. Not worth losing your sanity for sure. Find another job.

Increase Salary to reflect the work that is required to be done!!! Increase company cars, purchase company phones. Enforce mandated case loads never increase. Hire more staff. Offer Work from home options.

No growth potential and the pay is not competitive with non-governmental positions. No raises or cost of living increases for most clerical workers in past five years even though services/benefits have increased for those welfare populations we serve. Wonder why we can't get generations of Missourians off of welfare? Why should they go to work when they get better benefits than State of Missouri workers!

Very flexible, employees can earn between 5-7 hours of vacation time depending on seniority and 5 hours of sick time per pay period.
