If you were in charge, what would you do to make State of North Carolina a better place to work?
Change management and make it equal to country demographic, not just whites
Honestly! I would be happy to tell them. Just like any job you have good and bad employee, manager. Only problem is higher up will take side of the lower manager. Without investigate them.
How do you know you got the job? Do they call you or do they tell you right on the spot
I had an interview and was hired on the same day. I had proof of a nursing license and had no problem getting the position.
They sent me an email after I'd submitted my application through the State HR system to schedule the interview; when I arrived on site there was a stack of paperwork to fill out; then I was brought into the conference room with the Department Manager, and two CO officers. A series of 7 standard questions was asked, then I was able to ask questions. If chosen by the Warden my application packet would be sent to the State HR department for follow-up.
If you have a criminal background, is that an automatic no for a job with the state of NC?
No. Having a criminal background should not just disqualify a person. It should be based solely on that persons criminal history, and the level of that crime commited.
