What is the interview process like at State of Ohio?
Interviews involve 1 HR rep and 1 supervisor from division. Both ask if questions need repeated, signaling that your answer is incomplete. There is pressure to accept their offer to repeat each question, which drags out the interview. Really odd how they do this. There’s also a behavioral style question about diversity and inclusion which surprisingly encourages employees to delve into their co workers culture and appreciate it! This seems like a trick question designed to disqualify you for the job for overstepping, but they expect employees to be proactive in other’s lives. Very inappropriate and uncomfortable question that shouldn’t be state endorsed.Asked September 13, 2016
