Eliminate discrimination at the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food. I was told I could not apply for the next level position because as a woman, my male director of the department could not meet with me in private and this would exclude me from a supervisory position. He was instructed by his bishop to avoid all private meetings with women.

When I did leave, it was because the parents I was trying to work with would not comply with what was asked of them, they did not care about their own children. that was a hard pill for me to swallow
