Fast-growing company that struggles with scaling internal employment. Extremely fast pace and stressful environment with extremely strict goals.
Client Experience Agent (Former Employee) –  Austin, TXApril 4, 2019
The environment is very open and inviting. The people are great, but the actual job and employment growth is very limited. The company’s lack of ability to scale internally really impacts the worklife balance. While the company is scaling globally very quickly, the employment satisfaction is decreasing .

Client Experience Senior Agent (Current Employee) –  Austin, TXFebruary 26, 2019
Stitch Fix promises a lot they have no intention to deliver on. They say flexible scheduling and work from home as a benefit, but they don't let you use it. Leadership is ineffective, you will have to drive your own growth here and make your way into very clicky echelons if you plan to advance at all. Pay is ok, but no 401k, no tuition reimbursement, no shift differential, no bonuses, and all the perks are slowly going away.
Pros
free lunch once a week
Cons
Shoddy leadership

It's not a longterm career
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Austin, TXJanuary 14, 2019
Management was a turn-off. The way the company chose to structure management was a turn-off. Coworkers were amazing. Pay was alright. Wouldn't recommend over all, issues with management outweighs anything that company did right.

Not What I Expected At All
Customer Experience Agent (Current Employee) –  Austin, TXSeptember 12, 2018
I would say that it definitely is not what I expected at all. They claim to be a laid back culture but they want you to take care of over 100+ clients a day but don't provide you with better processes so that you can do your job with more ease and less stress. It's difficult to meet metrics if you are not fast or as knowledgeable and that alone is mentally draining.
Also, the company definitely needs to adopt a more inclusive culture. The company's lack of other ethnicities such as African Americans, Asians, Hispanics, and Middle Eastern is really sad and it demonstrates and projects racial bias.
Overall, it's okay though. They mean well and there are some cool people who work there, but the company is truly missing the mark.
Pros
Catered lunch, free snacks, Cool office space
Cons
Poor leadership, Stressful

Fun working environment, fast-paced, goal-oriented.
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  South San Francisco, CAJanuary 9, 2018
Fun working environment, fast-paced, goal-oriented. Management needs improvement, too much rotation and inexperienced leaders. Great opportunities in learning or career growth, but management could be very selective.
Pros
free snacks, catered lunch once a month, great benefits and discounts.
Cons
management, short breaks, career advancement

Career launching opportunity. Good experience coming straight out of college. I learn several platforms, softwares, and enhanced my problem solving skills while with this company.

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Austin, TXOctober 16, 2016
I have grown a lot as a person and learned a lot of great things! They don't believe in merit based raises and want to give you a lot of roles/not compensate you for it.
