You do real good and get hated by jealous coworkers. Bunch of stoners that are lazy and make the new people do all the work when they are in the same level of position. Management always hiding in their office.
Pros
Free beer
Cons
You Make you work during lunch time if you walk by production.

Los Angeles Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Escondido, CAJanuary 28, 2019
Each day you work remote from your iPad and spend as much time as you need in the field. The hours are somewhat flexible, 8 hours is required per day but 10 is typical. The culture is very fun and everyone is generally in a good mood. The job can get pretty stressful due to the constantly changing nature of the bar industry. You will spend a lot of time having to chase money from delinquent bar owners. The job does give you a lot of freedom and open up many doors for advancement in the company as well with it's business partners.
Pros
Great benefits, lots of freedom
Cons
high stress

Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Napa, CAJanuary 22, 2019
Management with little to no beer knowledge were hired and handed a large task of bringing beer to Napa. The Team Stone mantra was pushed into the staffs brains religiously but the company did not hold up their side of the values that their mission statement reads.
Pros
Great beer
Cons
Slow business for it's location

the travel days sucked.. you didn't feel like you were backed up from mangers. Any store could complain about the smallest thing and you had to satisfy them basically bend over backwards instead of management telling them to stop

After being an employee for over 3 years, I learned how much fun working in a brewery really can be. I loved my coworkers and the guests I was able to serve. Through the highs and lows, I learned to stay positive even when certain events want to tell you otherwise.

Manager was one of the best I’ve worked for. Able to wear jeans and stone shirt in commissary kitchen with non slip shoes. Meals were provided Monday - Wednesday. Great benefits for medical and dental and 401k and discounts on stone products in the store/ bistro. Just sad being laid off
Pros
Good discounts.
Cons
Get lAid off if company doesn’t hit numbers

Stone Brewing Co. (Stone Distributing) was a great place to work. Great benefits, including BEER! Great management and they put Team Stone FIRST. To work for an independent craft brewery that isn't afraid to give a middle finger to the establishment was liberating. They are on the cutting edge of creativity and leading the charge against big beer.

Disorganized

There is no place for growth and a lot of unfair treatment. Growth based on connections. Disorganized and unstable.

Stone because of its reputation looks great on a resume. It is not too great of a brewery to work at but work there a year and go to a brewery that treats you like a person and not an employee,

Terrible, unsafe, unprofessional, dishonest place to work.
Packing and Shipping Associate (Current Employee) –  Downey, CAJanuary 12, 2018
3 years of working here. Was lead on and never advanced. Lack of professionalism, mistreatment of workers, unsafe work environment, no structure or balance in worker to management. Terrible place to work. Broke my thumb from dropping a keg on it by accident and injury was treated like it was nothing. Company does NOT care about workers especially night crew. Was fired for calling out WITH sick time. Would never recommend this job to anyone unless you like stressful hard manual labor with little to no professional guidance and no advancement whatsoever.
Cons
Unsafe. Misleading. Ungrateful for work fulfilled.

Delivery Driver (Former Employee) –  Downey, CANovember 24, 2017
This company is great for their beer, but not their employment opportunities. The lowest paying company in the Beer Industry for delivery drivers. Health benefits are low end, as well as any other insurances/benefits they provide. Mandatory overtime.

We were told there would be no raises or bonus for the next 2-3 years, but our work loads continued to increase as more and more people would leave their jobs.

usually you get regular amount of working hours per day but may be asked to work 6 to 7 days a week when short handed. very high paced production, but expected since it is a very popular tourism spot. shifter beer at end of shift and allocated free beer per month is a good benefit.
Pros
Free lunches and free beer.
