Machine Operator (Former Employee) –  Londonderry, NHMarch 10, 2019
Do you like working for a company that is trying to make the world better? Stonyfield is right for you. Are you trying to have lazy leadership and other leaders not know how to do their jobs? Then Stonyfield is right for you. Do you want to learn multiple production lines and not be compensated for knowing multiple lines? Then Stonyfield is for you. Do you want to be persecuted and or treated like a horrible employee because you called out? Then Stonyfield is for you. What Stonyfield stands for as a company is great and I stand by it, but the leadership are all morons. They pretend that they know exactly how everything is ran. They dont. They have these ideas of of how it works but dont understand anything. Then you have other people who are in a leadership position that have 0 clue on how anything works for production. Place is a joke. If they could cleanse the leadership there would be a lot more happy employees and no one would ever leave.
Pros
Great benefits
Cons
Working 12hrs, horrible leadership

If you want to get beat up and frustrated every minute of everyday, then go for it.
maintenance (Former Employee) –  Londonderry, NHJanuary 23, 2019
The equipment is poorly designed, filthy and very poorly maintained. Nothing every really gets fixed because they run the machines and the people into the ground. It is a very frustrating place to work. They expect everything to go smoothly but don't give you the time or the resources to make that happen. If you are hourly, you have to punch in and out for breaks and lunch (a total of 8 times per day). You have to wear a slew of excessive and unnecessary safety gear plus a very uncomfortable uniform. Supervisors are so petty that they send emails to your boss if your uniform shirt is not tucked in. Most floor personnel don't really know what they are doing. They don't get properly trained and the equipment is very, very over complicated. Expect to get beat up bad everyday. There are no easy days there. The best you can expect is a day where you can say, "it wasn't as bad as it usually is". And those are few and far between. Management minions are mainly young, inexperienced, over educated, spoiled brats. Most are clueless as this is their first job out of college and they are into that leftist political mentality that runs rampant in the place. They also seem to live in a world of denial over just how bad the place is run. Worse yet they to ignore the fact the turnover is outrageous! Mainly because of very poor raises and a terrible work environment. There are a few who thrive there and love it there. That might (on a good day) make up about 10% of the hourly workforce. Be aware that you have to work holidays (every holiday) if that holiday falls on your normal work day. Of  more... course you won't find a manager within miles of the place on holidays. But they don't care about that. You would think they have this idea that the place is curing cancer. But it isn't. They make yogurt. And yogurt that is far over priced and very inconsistent in quality. So think very, very hard about working there. The place gives some awesome benefits, but is it really worth it? Not to me and everyone else who leaves. Also forced overtime is a reality because the place is so understaffed. So management mentality is to further beat up those who stay like they don't dish out enough punishment. This is one of the worst places I've ever worked at in my 25+ years in the work force. Don't be drawn in by hiring managers telling you how great it is there. If it was, everyone would want to work there and no one would leave. Pretty much common sense if you ask me. So the choice is yours.... Get your butt kicked all the time, everyday and go home feeling lucky to have made it through the day, or look elsewhere and feel lucky you didn't make the mistake so many others have made.  less

Not bad
Machine Operator (Current Employee) –  Londonderry, NHOctober 31, 2018
Not that stressful. Training is mediocre. Management is good but lacking in some areas. Hardest part of the job is learning from trainers. Sometimes they just go too quickly without proper explanation. Or sometimes things don’t happen too often for practice purposes. Most enjoyable part is the 3 half hour breaks. Problem is most new people want to leave the job and always talk about finding a new job unless they have been there for years already. Which I assume they gave a higher rate of pay that helps them not want to leave.
Pros
Free yogurt. Time off. Vacation time.
Cons
Pay rate could be better.

Associate Brand Manager - Stonyfield Kids business (Current Employee) –  Londonderry, NHApril 25, 2018
I love what the company stands for - they're a leader in the organic space and show that business can have heart and take care of its environment and future generations.
Unfortunately, some departments are understaffed, and there is lack of management, vision, and worst of all, communication.
Pros
Free yogurt, good work life balance
Cons
Too much turnover, management lacks communication skills

I would go in from 6:20pm to 7am.
They taught me how to drive heavy machinery
Management had no clue how some employees would feel about working so much over time.
Hardest part of the job we’re the hours 12 hour work days.
Pros

A fun place to work with great people but not much room for advancement. Pay could be better and the schedule is tough. I have learned a lot at this job.

Demand Planner & Customer Solutions Specialist (Current Employee) –  Londonderry, NHFebruary 5, 2018
Executive leadership is out of touch with day to day tasks and requirements. There is a lack of advancement opportunities from within and the majority of the hiring now comes from outside the company regardless of tenure or knowledge.

Good Expanding company who cares about the health of their cutomers and employees
Receiving Department Weekend Team Lead (Former Employee) –  Manchester, NHDecember 27, 2013
Good paying job with possibilities of promotions. They walk their talk and care about the health of their employees as well as their consumer and the planet. Management is going through a transition and it is causing losses of jobs as well as a lot of daily gossip. For the most part if your a hard worker it will be noticed although most department supervisors/leads play favorites with certain employees causing some backlash. The benefits are very good although they seem to be getting less and less each year. But overall a good company to work for.
Pros
free gym membership/fit bits/ good hourly wage
Cons
Hours and lack of appreciation from upper management.
