Very hard place to work for
Call Center Representative (Former Employee) –  Eagan, MNAugust 22, 2016
Go to my desk log on and answer the phone.

How to activate and sell radios.

Management was awful, mean and impatient.

Co workers were nice we were all in the same situation.

The hardest part was trying to explain to the customer why they were still being charged for a service they no longer had, why they have to keep calling to disconnect the radio and why they will not receive a refund for fraud charges.

Was selling radios and the team that sold the most always received rewards.
Pros

Dealing with customers is easy if you get to managed how to deal with them and resolve any issues they might have, is about being polite and get things done. make them happy and satisfied because at the end is not always about them, if we finish the call with a satisfied customer we get rating at work, it was fun at times when you didn't have any rude or mad customer.
Pros
Free ride home
Cons
short brakes, hours.

Training could be hands on to give new hires a better chance to have a feel if the job is for them and to have a better grasp on challenges you may come across and would be nice if their was more in depth tutorial to show what problems a employee may face which also allows employees to better understand and properly navigate through the systems so phone calls wont be so long. In doing that it will help new hires to have better success on the floor in terms of solving customers issues, making sales more efficiently and giving workers more access to be able to learn and navigate through several systems more efficiently. Overall the facility was nice includes ping pong tables, pool tables and restaurants and other companies come in providing food and drinks at discounted rate.
Pros
Competitive atmosphere, Nice People and Team individuals
Cons
Must sale on every phone call and people like drama, which will start issues on the minor issues just to advance or bring co workers down

Call Center Technician (Tech Support) (Former Employee) –  Watertown, NYMay 22, 2014
I love the Stream environment, everyone is so fun and energetic and it's a great atmosphere but I did not like sitting in a chair for so many hours each day and it's hard to get the shift you are looking for or need due to the shifts being given out by shift bid and a stack rank.
Pros
good coworkers, good management, consistent hours
Cons
hard to get the shift you want, stressful, tiring

Call Center Agent for Dell (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLNovember 12, 2013
Micro managing is the word for today. Video games and ping pong will not relieve the stress of working there. Old 2g ram systems, constant freezing but you can't say that, you have to say 'my system is refreshing".................for the past 10 mins.........

It is a good call center experience for support techs.

Don't Waste Your Time
Call Center Agent (Former Employee) –  BeavertonFebruary 4, 2013
1. Go into the interview knowing that almost everyone gets hired.
2. Training shows you how extremely immature the majority of people they hire are. The trainer was poor in teaching material in an understandable manner.
3. Training is nothing like the job. Customers constantly complain that no one has adequate information to help them and that they have been on hold for over an hour.
4. Your calls are monitored with no warning. But their expectations are low anyway.
5. You will be treated like a child and it's a "rah rah" mentality.
6. The "point system" they have to evaluate your attendance and timeliness does not apply in the 90-day probationary period and they let people go as they saw fit. (I quit)
7. Despite their claim, it is a very unhealthy atmosphere. The majority of employees smoke, drink tons of energy drinks to get through the day, and it is rumored that many use drugs. (It is also rumored that there is no drug testing)
8. Low class & Low IQ employees. The ones that do seem intelligent leave you wondering why they work there, if they are so fascinating and brilliant.
9. Health Benefits are horrible. Not only do you have to pay a large sum of money every month, there is often a $1,000 deductible, meaning you pay that first before your benefits even take effect.
10. There is favoritism. The immature cry-babies are taken under the wing of supervisors who apparently need to mother people.

A place where I was able to learn a lot about D-SLR cameras.
Callcenter agent (Former Employee) –  Santo DomingoDecember 30, 2012
I stayed at Stream for almost 3 years and can only say that it was besides the work a place where I loved to go every day. The management and my team manager were always available and very helpful. The hardest part of the job was only the first few weeks after starting until I gained more experience and the most enjoyable time I had after becoming an e-mail agent for Nikon.

Call Center Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Beaverton, ORMay 23, 2012
My job was sales through incoming calls of a high demand software product. Helping people with solutions was challenging and satisfying. The managers were fair and friendly.
The company culture was relaxed. The company lounge was a great place to take a break and have lunch. The company cafe had great deals on lunches and breakfast.
The contract for the company I represented dropped it's contract and my job ended.
Pros
fast paced
Cons
contract ended, job terminated
