Family style environment. Caring and committed employees.
DSP/Caregiver (Current Employee) - Flagstaff, AZ - August 17, 2021
This agency provides dedicated focus to individuals health and safety along with continuous supports in teaching life skills to those with special needs. The compassion displayed by the staff to the members has renewed my faith in humanity. When employees practice effective communication with peers, support is always provided and resolutions are collectively considered. There is truly team spirit for those that commit their hearts to helping more vulnerable people.
Pros
A job that makes a difference in others lives
Cons
Learning to stay calm even when an individual is having a bad day

BHT (Current Employee) - Flagstaff, AZ - September 24, 2019
You can feel like you are an important part of the lives of the members. You can get to know their families and friends. You can help them progress in their lives.
The culture provided by management is rather restricted as they are more concerned with limiting the the services to the least amount that they can provide legally. Seldom going above this.
Pros
Great members
Cons
Poor work culture

NOC CAREGIVER (Current Employee) - Flagstaff, AZ - June 22, 2019
I work the night shift, i have plenty of down time. My responsabilities include checking on the residents while they sleep, get them ready in the morning with breakfast and meds. Clean the house at night, and fill out paper work. However those things dont take all night so basically i get paid for my whole shift and only work around 4hrs total.
